7 And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, *(22) 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
*(22) War in Heaven, Satan, Deceiver of the Whole World -- This is an allegorical description of a giant spiritual confrontation between the sons of light and the sons of darkness. They symbolically depict the spiritual forces, good and evil, that battle for dominion in the minds of men. "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world" (12v9). This scripture speaks to the establishment of institutionalized deception under the dominion of the Spirit of Err, which caused the masses of the earth to be afflicted with death, destruction, poverty, fear, anxiety, pollution, perversion, degeneracy, dis-respect, immorality, plagues, sickness, and disease. This means that entire evil concepts, systems and implementation devices have been set up for and accepted by the people as correct and normal lifestyles. By institutionalizing deception, Satan has been given a seat in the governments of the world that legislate his evil policies and maintain his rulership. ---12v7

I’ve been wanting to do this for a number of years and surprisingly I’m just getting to it today. I want to document the references of my 2 names (i.e., Michael and Malchijah) which are biblical in nature. I would like to provide a historical context of how my name was used and why it has been recognized as a ‘special’ name for decades and centuries.
Michael mi’kel, who (is) like unto God? Dan. 10:13 & 21, Da 12:1, Jude 9, Re 12:7, Da 10:13 Micah mi’kah, who (is) like unto Jehovah?, Judg. 17:1, 2Ch34:20, Mic 1:1 Michah mi’kah, same as Micah. 2 Chr 24:24 Micaiah mi-ka’jah, fuller form of Micah. 1Kin. 22:8, 2Ki 22:12; 2Ch 13:2 Michaiah mi-ka’jah, same as Micaiah Neh. 12:35 Malchijah mal-ki’jah, same as Malchiah, 1 Chr. 9:12 Malchiah mal-ki’ah, Jehovah’s king. 1 Chr. 6:40 Malchiel mal-ki-el, God’s king Gen. 46:17
Malachi mal’a-ki, the messenger of Jehovah, Mal. 1:1
Micah mi’kah, who (is) like unto Jehovah? Michah mi’kah, same as Micah. Micah is sometimes regarded as the prophet of the South. In Hebrew, his name is “mee-kah,” “who is like God, or who from his mind, emanates the thought of God.” Micah prophesied against Israel and Judah; but emphasis was put on the sins of the southern kingdom of Judah. …Micah, just as Joel, Obadiah, and Amos, predicted the imminent wrath of God upon the nation of Israel. The rich were exploiting the poor, the rulers were misleading the people, and the priests were compromising the Word of God. …The prophets of truth were told to keep quiet. Even so, in the midst of this, Micah was appointed to declare Israel’s end although he preached the restoration of Israel in the last days and also prophesied the birth of the Messiah in Bethlehem.
Micaiah mi-ka’jah, fuller form of Micah Michaiah mi-ka’jah, same as Micaiah 1Kin 22:14 And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak
Michael mi’kel, who (is) like unto God? Dan. 10:13 & 21, Da 12:1, Jude 9, Re 12:7 Dan 10:13: But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Dan 12:1: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time; and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Jude 9: Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Every month the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church has a commemoration of the honorable መልአክ /Malak/Angel ሚካኤል/Mikael/Michael, the Archangel, who is standing before እግዚአብሔር Igziabher/God the Almighty interceding on behalf of the human race saying, "O Thou Who art not prone to anger, do not be angry. O Righteous One, have mercy on Thy creation. O Thou Who is long suffering; do not destroy the work of Thy Hands." O Glorious Prince of the heavenly host, ቅዱስ ሚካኤል/Qidus Mikael/St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle and in the terrible warfare that we are waging against the principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the evil spirits.
Come to the aid of man, whom Almighty እግዚአብሔር [Igziabher/God] created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of Satan. Fight this day the battle of እግዚአብሔር/Igziabher/the Lord, together with the Holy Angels, as already you have fought the leader of the proud Angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist you, nor was there place for them any longer in Heaven. That cruel, ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his apostate angels.
Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of እግዚአብሔር [Igziabher/God], and give them the victory. They venerate you as their protector and patron; in you the Holy Orthodox Tewahedo glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to you has Almighty እግዚአብሔር Igziabher/God entrusted the souls of mankind to be established in heavenly beatitude.
Oh, pray to እግዚአብሔር [Igziabher/God], the አምላክ/Amlak/God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold humanity in captivity and harm the One, Holy Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly find mercy in the sight of እግዚአብሔር/Igziabher/the Lord; and vanquishing the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. አሜን።/Amen. Behold the መስቀል/Masqal/Cross of እግዚአብሔር/Igziabher/the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers. The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David has conquered. Let Thy mercies be upon us, O እግዚአብሔር/Igziabher/Lord. As we have hoped in Thee. O እግዚአብሔር/Igziabher/Lord, hear my prayer. And let my cry come unto Thee.
Let us pray.
O እግዚአብሔር/Igziabher/God, the Father of Our ጌታ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ/Geta Eeyesus Kristos/Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy Holy Name, and as supplicants, we implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Qidist Mariyam, Ever-Virgin, our Mother, and of the glorious ቅዱስ ሚካኤል/Qidus Mikael/Saint Michael, the Archangel, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all the other unclean spirits who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of souls. አሜን።Amen.
Besme Ab, weWeld, weMenfes Qidus. Ahadu Amlak. Amen. (In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. One God. Amen.)

On this day is celebrated the commemorative festival of the glorious angel the Archangel Michael, because of it God sent him to the army of Sanakrem, the king of Persia, and slew eighteen ten thousand and fifty hundred men. And having besieged Jerusalem, Sanakrem (Sennacherib) sent messengers to Hezekiah, the king, who reviled him and blasphemed the Lord God, and he said unto them (i.e. the Jews), "Who can deliver you out of my hand?" And Hezekiah, the king of Judah, was sad, and he put on hair sackcloth, and he entered the House of God, and prayed and bowed down before Hom in the sanctuary, and entreated Him to save His people, and the city of Jerusalem. And God accepted his petition, and He sent Saint Michael the Archangel, to the army of Sanakrem (Sennacherib) king of Persia, and he performed a great miracle upon him, and delivered and all the people of Judah. For this reason the Teachers of the Church have commanded the people to celebrate the festival of Saint Michael the Archangel this day. (2 Kings 19)
